Haven Play Passes – What You Need to Know

Haven Craig Tara operates a Play Pass system for access to certain on‑site facilities.
As our caravan is privately owned, Play Passes are not included in your booking but can only be purchased direct from Haven.

Whether you need a pass or not depends entirely on how you plan to spend your stay.

When we register you onto park, Haven will email you direct with invitation to purchase Play Passes and further instruction on how to complete the purchase. 

 

What You Can Do Without a Haven Play Pass

You are very welcome to stay on the park and enjoy the following without purchasing Play Passes:

  • Stay in the caravan and enjoy all of its facilities
  • Access the beach and coastal walks
  • Use the park restaurants, bars and takeaways
  • Visit the on‑site supermarket
  • Use the launderette
  • Enjoy the arcades
  • Use outdoor play areas and open spaces
  • Explore the surrounding area and local attractions

Many guests choose not to buy Play Passes and instead use Craig Tara as a great base for beach days, relaxing, and days out around Ayrshire.

 

What a Haven Play Pass Gives You Access To

If you choose to purchase Play Passes directly from Haven, this allows access to:

  • Indoor swimming pool, including slides and splash areas
  • Daytime and evening entertainment, including live shows
  • Ability to pre‑book activities (some activities carry an additional charge)
  • Children’s organised activities and family entertainment

Swimming sessions and activities are subject to availability, and pre‑booking is recommended during busy periods.

 

Important Information About Play Passes

  • Play Passes must be purchased directly from Haven
  • Prices vary depending on time of year, length of stay and number of guests
  • Children under 4 do not require a pass
  • Play Passes are optional, not compulsory
  • Passes cover the full duration of your stay
  • Activities and entertainment are managed entirely by Haven, not by the caravan owner

 

*Cap price is the maximum price you will pay for any combination of passes required when staying in a 3 bed caravan.
